My Little Helper

Lately, my little-miss-independant has been driving me crazy with her not-so-independant play. She used to play so good on her own for bits of time, but now for some reason, I can't get anything done without tears and a fit taking place (sometimes my fit and my tears!! haha) So, in order to get the dishes done, for example I set up a chair next to me for Nora to stand on and she gets to take the soapy dishes and put them in the rinse water, etc.
Anyway, so while Clay was gone on the Box Y trip (snowmobiling) I thought I would surprise him by getting atleast the second coat of mud on the room we're finishing downstairs. I got everything but the ceiling done Monday night, so Tuesday afternoon, after Nora woke up from her nap, we went down to finish the job. I got out a piece of extra sheetrock for Nora to color on, with some apple slices to snack on and figured she'd be set. She colored for a minute, the girl loves to color, and then she set to the task of helping Mama out. I ran upstairs for my camera and captured my little helper in action.
