When I was a kid we had an old 70-something Chevy Impala in the pasture that we LOVED to play in. This thing was cool. It was a sort of metallic gold color and inside it had white pleather seating and door to door green shag carpeting. I LOVED it. We could play in that thing for hours, because we could go anywhere and everywhere in that car. It wasn't just an old car, it was a time machine, it was anything we wanted.
So, yesterday, Nora Tess and I were playing outside and having fun. Well, we have an old 1973 Gremlin in our backyard that "came" with the house. The thing is in pretty bad shape but it only has 50k miles on it, so we can't just get rid of it, of course. I'm actually pretty excited to change the brakes and drive it around this summer. Well, anyway, Nora all of a sudden looked at the Gremlin with new eyes yesterday. She runs over to me and says, "Mama, I drive!" I didn't know what she said at first and then she ran over to the Gremlin. Well, I threw her in there and she drove her baby doll all over the place, for about 30 minutes. It was pretty fun. It reminded me of those days in the old Impala. What happens to our imaginations as we get older?

I love this LeAnn. We had a big old clunker jeep type thing in our yard when I was growing up and I did the same thing. I played in that for hours. I'm going to post it to my blog, thanks to you for the idea.
It was great seeing you all over the weekend. We love yoU!
