We've had such a mild winter this year that it was actually a blessing and a pleasant surprise, a week and a half ago, when we got about 8 inches of snow. Nora Tess loves to be outside and so we got all dressed up and headed out into the snow.
The day was bEAuTIFuL!!!
Nora still isn't so sure about walking around in the snow - which in her credit was up to her waist - but she spotted her "fourwheeler" and just had to have it out. It was not quite as easy to navigate as in the summer, she kept telling me it was stuck! But with a little shoveling and packing down in front of the back steps we had a small area that she could atleast move a little bit. Then the real fun happened. Nora discovered Icicles!!! We don't have gutters on our house and so we have huge icicles all over.
This girl LOVES ice. I believe that has more than a little something to do with Grandma Lyon who starts all the grandkids off on an ice craze from an early early age. It was pure JOY as she proceeded to eat as many icicles as I would let her!! What a fun day. It was so much fun for me to watch all the smiles and giggling and happiness from my sweet little girl.
