August 25, 2009 was our 5 year Anniversary
I don't have a wedding picture on the computer. Is it sad that this picture from January is our most recent picture together? :)
Year One: Little apartment, was way too big, woke up wrapped up in each others arms, nothing makes you angry because you're so IN LOVE (or lust :)
Year Two: Still an endless honeymoon. Money is tight, but we've got love - and really that's all you need.
Year Three: Embarking on the great family journey. Neither of us was prepared for the love that we would feel for that little, special spirit. Roles changing, things shifting, we weren't prepared for how our lives would change either.
Year Four: Who could ask for more? Money is still tight, but that's life and we enjoy what we have.
Year Five: What a roller coaster ride. Our love continues to grow stronger and stronger. My life would not be complete without the wonderful family that we have.
I am so blessed to be the wife and companion to Clay. He picks up the slack where I fall short, and he has such amazing love for me and our little girl. I am so blessed to have been married in the temple these 5 years ago and to be sealed to him and our little family for eternity - what a fantastic gift from our Lord and Savior.
We don't normally do much to celebrate our anniversary. However, I told Clay that we should atleast celebrate the big 5 year marks and since this was our first 5-er I dropped a few hints about the Anniversary Inn or something to commemorate it. Anyway, the cute sucker pulled through and got us a room at the Anniversary Inn - the Jesse James Hideaway. It was so fun. The picture is from the website-no pictures were taken of our Anniversary activities :) Thanks, honey for these five fantastic years. I love you so much!
